On January 24, 2025, Professor Mizuho Fushitani from the Graduate School of Nagoya University delivered the 552nd Photonic Nanoscience Special Lecture at NAIST, hosted by Professor Hiroyuki Katsuki. His talk explored the physics of free electron lasers and their applications in studying physical, chemical, and biological phenomena.

(It seems Prof. Fushitani and Prof. Katsuki were classmates in university.)
